Summer Edition of the Greenwich Local Offer Newsletter - 15

 

The Autism Project - Friday 26th July

Their online information sessions are held on the last Friday of each month at 1pm via Zoom.

These sessions are open to anyone who wants to find out more about The Autism Project, their full-time, employability programme for autistic young people aged 18-25, with an Education Health & Care Plan and hear from staff and ask them questions.

Greenwich Parent Carer Participation Forum

GPCPF are looking for parents/carers who would be willing to volunteer a few hours a week and meet with other parents telling them about services for children and young people with SEND through a range of different avenues . In areas such as:

  • Greenwich Carer Parent Participation Forum—official strategic voice in Royal Greenwich
  • Greenwich’s Local Offer
  • Access to short breaks
  • Education and social care
  • Health services and key messages
  • Childcare and parenting support

Contact Early Years Workshops

Contact have some dates for online workshops for parents/carers of children aged 0 to 5 with SEND in ENGLAND. All of the workshops are interactive, so parents will be able to ask the very experienced and knowledgeable trainers all of their most challenging questions! Or they can just sit and observe.

Subjects that they cover include Toilet Training, Sleep, Speech and Language, Social Communication, Money Matters, Education, Anxiety, Behaviour.
