IASS Minimum Standards

SENDIASS must have regard to the minimum standards and use the minimum standards when developing operational plans for their service.

These standards should be used when planning and developing how the service operates.

The minimum standards are based on legal requirements outlined in:

• The Children and Families Act 2014
• The SEND Code of Practice
• Additional legal guidance commissioned by the Information, Advice and Support Service Network (IASSN)
